Mrs. Young has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting and 5 years in industry in the accounting department in various roles. She has experience in bookkeeping, personal tax, corporation tax and internal audits. Furthermore, Mrs. Young has assisted public and privately held companies with month-end closing, accounting reconciliation, and special accounting projects. Additionally, Mrs. Young recurring staff on the engagement.

Business Experience:

Mrs. Young worked in a local financial firm performing financial transactions and setting up investment accounts such as: 401k, IRA, Roth IRA’s, annuities, bookkeeping and payroll. Additionally, Mrs. Young worked closely with SEC rules, regulations, and compliance procedures. 

Mrs. Young, among other tasks, currently services as an experience staff and in-charge for several clients as an external consultant in implementing internal control procedures for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for client AeroVironment, Ducommun, and Habit Burger Grill, closing month-end books, bookkeeping, preparation of personal tax returns, preparation of corporate tax returns, processing payroll for multiple clients, and handling and providing special accounting projects including performing SEC and privately held company audits such as Los Angeles Trucking Company (revenue of more than a billion dollar), I-On Digital Corp, and more.

Mr. Yang has more than 4 years of experience in public accounting and 3 years in industry in the accounting department in various roles. He has experience in bookkeeping, external audit (both public and privately held companies) and internal audits. Furthermore, Mr. Yang has assisted public and privately held companies with month-end closing, accounting reconciliations, IPO preparation, and financial statement preparations.

Business Experience:

Mr. Yang worked in a real estate and distribution companies performing bookkeeping and payroll. Mr. Yang, among other tasks, currently services as an experienced consultant and in-charge for several clients as an external consultant in implementing internal control procedures for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for clients, closing month-end books, and bookkeeping services. Mr. Yang has assessed, documented, and implemented several technical accounting areas such revenue recognition (ASC 606), complex derivative accounting, lease accounting, and more.

Mr. Chung has more than 20 years of experience in the public accounting arena, as well as, invaluable industry exposure. He has extensive experience in audits for both private and public companies, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 planning and testing, purchase accounting under mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting and due diligence transactions including post-merger integration services. Mr. Chung offers specialized expertise in the consumer, retail, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and non- profit industries. Mr. Chung’s international experience includes IFRS and due diligence in China and US GAAP conversion audits in China and South Korea. Furthermore, Mr. Chung has been engaged in various IPO engagements, reverse merger [with SPACs] in China and Korea working with large investment bankers, lawyers, and private equity firms.

Business Experience:

As well as Mr. Chung joining Irvine Advisory, he formed his own company, Benjamin & Young, LLP which has been in business for over a decade. Mr. Chung served as an Audit Partner for BDO Korea and previously represented the Korea Desk with BDO USA. He completed a two-year international rotation in South Korea and China, overseeing quality control for US GAAP, other foreign reporting filers, and the capital market practice. Mr. Chung also served as Audit Manager for medium to large public companies in the consumer industries practice at both Ernst &amp, Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. While at BDO, Mr. Chung served as one of the retail industry leaders, managing quarterly technical accounting and auditing webinars, and providing guidance to clients and other Partners in the firm. He was International Controller for American Apparel, Inc. Prior to this, Mr. Chung was Director of Internal Audit and Interim Director of Financial Reporting for Big 5 Sporting Goods. Mr. Chung is actively involved in other areas and currently services as Chief Financial Officer for two small businesses with revenue of more than $20M with international operations and audit committee chairman and board member for a public company.
